What amount of house deposit for first time buyer in suburbs of Glasgow?
October 10th, 2009
We want to move from Dublin to the suburbs of Glasgow in the next few years. we might rent at first but hope to buy our first property there. Our budget would be 150,000 for a 3 bedroomed maximum. How much of a deposit would we be needing to pay approx? thanks.
Gosh, I thought that 20% would be the very most they would look for. Thanks. Keep the answers coming.
Have been on the Gspc or whatever it is called and there seems to be houses for that price. I can understand that the westend would be more expensive and we wouldn’t want to be that close to the city. Thinking of Dumbartonshire or Renfrewshire or something. Not ready to move yet but want to know how much we need to be saving.
A lot of mortgage companies today are asking for 25% so on 150,000 that’ll be 37,500. You may find one who only asks for 10% (15,000) if you’re lucky.
this is a recording of the final destruction of the housing apartments/flats featured in the recent Bravia Advert. The recording was made on a video phone (we forgot the video cam!!) and then converted to AVI. The quality of the film is crap but the actual demolition is quite viewable. let me know what you think.
